Terms of service

Effective date: October 27, 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and Education Technology Professionals LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("ETP", "we", "us"), for using ETP Campus: the Down Dashboard, Games, ETP Sites and the sign-in they share. By using ETP Campus you agree to them. If you use it for a school, you agree to them for the school too, and you confirm you are allowed to.

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. It is part of these terms.

Accounts

• ETP Campus accounts are for school staff and other adults. Students do not need one: they join games with a code.
• Give us a real email address, and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• If you are a school's owner or admin, you will need two-step verification to approve members and change who can join.

Schools

• Anyone at a school may add it to ETP Campus, and becomes its first owner. If an administrator from the school asks to take over its account, we may hand it to them once we have checked who they are.
• A school's owners and admins decide who joins it. Approving someone gives them staff access; only an owner or admin can make someone an admin.
• A school is responsible for what its members do in ETP Campus on its behalf, and for having the right to share what it puts in, such as staff email addresses.

Using ETP Campus

Do not:

• break the law, or use ETP Campus to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
• try to get at information that is not yours, get around a limit, or probe or disrupt our systems, except through a security report to us;
• copy ETP Campus in bulk, resell it, or run automated traffic against it;
• put anything into a game, a notice or a school website that you do not have the right to share.

If you find a security problem, tell us at support@educationtechpros.com and give us a chance to fix it before telling anyone else. We will not pursue anyone who reports a problem in good faith and does no harm.

Games with students

• The teacher who hosts a game is responsible for running it as they would any classroom activity.
• Players are asked for a first name and last initial only. Our name filter refuses offensive names, but it will miss some. The host can remove or block any player and close the game to new players.
• Do not ask players to type anything more about themselves than the game asks for.

The Down Dashboard

The Down Dashboard shows what a service's own status page reports and what our checks see. Both can be late or wrong, and a service can be down without saying so. When we cannot check a service, we say so rather than showing it as working. Do not rely on the Down Dashboard alone for anything where safety depends on it.

If your school stores a sign-in for one of its services so we can check it, you confirm the school is allowed to give it to us for that purpose.

Your content

What you or your school put into ETP Campus (questions, notices, website pages, settings) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people it is meant for, and copy it as needed to run the service. We do not use it for anything else.

Free tools and paid plans

The Down Dashboard, Games and a basic ETP Sites website are free. We do not offer paid plans yet. If we add one, its price and terms will be shown before anyone pays, and Stripe will handle payment.

Changes and availability

We keep improving ETP Campus, and we may change or stop a feature. If we stop a tool your school uses, we will tell you at least 90 days in advance and give you a way to take your information with you. We aim to keep ETP Campus running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Ending

You can stop using ETP Campus at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. When an account ends, we delete its information as the privacy policy describes.

Warranties and liability

ETP Campus is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for more than the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. Any dispute about these terms or about ETP Campus will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Changes to these terms

We will post any change here with a new effective date. If a change matters to how you use ETP Campus, we will tell you 30 days before it takes effect.
